The Bergara B-14 barreled action is installed in an MDT ESS aluminum chassis, combining Bergara's smooth bolt operation with a rigid, modular platform. The action uses a right-hand bolt with an oversized, tapered knob and a plunger ejector. Feeding is via a detachable box magazine system, and this rifle is configured for AICS-pattern magazines with a 10+1 capacity.
The 22-inch barrel is heavy-profile, free-floated, and threaded at the muzzle. A multi-port muzzle brake is installed and marked "6.5" on the face. This setup supports stable shooting and straightforward attachment of compatible muzzle devices.
The MDT ESS chassis features a tan finish with an M-LOK forend and a fully adjustable, skeletonized buttstock. Adjustments are tool-less, covering the cheek riser, length of pull, buttpad height, and buttpad cant. Length of pull is set at 14.5 inches. Polymer grip panels are installed for a secure interface.
An MDT one-piece 20 MOA Picatinny scope base is installed on the action for solid mounting. The forend is marked MDT/ESS, and a short M-LOK Picatinny rail is mounted under the forend for a bipod or other compatible accessories. The magazines included are Magpul polymer PMAG AICS-pattern units marked 7.62x51, commonly used with 6.5 Creedmoor in this configuration.
