The heart of this rifle is its 24-inch 6.5 Creedmoor barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:8 twist, threaded at the muzzle and free-floated within the chassis for consistent performance. The barrel carries the roll-mark "REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY ILION, NY 6.5 CM 5R 1:8," and the receiver is the Remington short action. The finish is matte throughout.
The Magpul Industries Pro 700 folding chassis provides a rigid metal core with polymer outer panels and a separate pistol grip. It incorporates an M-LOK forend, QD sling cups, an adjustable cheekpiece, and adjustable length of pull with a ribbed buttpad. The barrel is free-floated in this chassis, and the stock folds for storage and transport.
A Timney Remington 700 Two-Stage Light trigger is installed, offering a crisp, two-stage break. Up top, an extended one-piece Picatinny scope rail is installed for secure optic mounting. The detachable box magazine system is set up with four included 5-round polymer Magpul magazines that are molded with 7.62x51 markings.
At the muzzle, a three-port side-baffle brake is installed to manage recoil and reduce movement. The combination of the 5R rifling and 1:8 twist supports the 6.5 Creedmoor's precision-focused design, and the short-action receiver keeps the package compact and efficient.
Additional usability comes from the included bipod mounted to the forend. The rifle is marked and manufactured in Ilion, New York, USA, and it presents in excellent condition with a clean, mirror-bright bore and sharp rifling.
