The hammer’s flip-down nose acts as a selector, allowing the shooter to choose between the rifled upper barrel and the 20-gauge barrel.
Construction is all steel with a blued finish and checkered walnut grips. The cylinder features factory roll-engraved scrollwork, complemented by floral flourishes around the 'COL. LEMAT' top-flat marking. Sights are fixed, with a front blade and a rear notch integrated into the hammer.
