What's Included
- Original manual
This SP101 uses an all-stainless steel solid frame with no side-plates and a 2.25 inch barrel featuring a full underlug and ejector-rod shroud. The five-shot cylinder is fluted and locks at three points for secure alignment.
The DAO configuration employs a spurless (bobbed) hammer and Ruger's transfer-bar ignition system. Sighting is straightforward with a fixed setup: an integral rear top-strap notch and a ramped, serrated front blade.
Its one-piece wraparound rubber grip with horizontal ribs provides a firm, consistent hold. The model retains the SP101's tool-less subassembly takedown characteristic for convenient maintenance.
Built in the United States, this example reflects 1997 manufacture, with stainless construction carried through the frame, cylinder, and barrel for uniform durability and finish.
