Built by Alamo Precision Rifles on the Defiance Machine Tenacity action, this rifle uses a pre-hardened 416 stainless receiver with an integral recoil lug and a 4340 steel bolt. The action includes a mini-16 extractor, plunger ejector, and a spiral-fluted bolt for reduced mass and smooth cycling. Chambered in .338 Lapua, it is configured for long-range performance with reliable feeding from a detachable Accurate-Mag pattern magazine.
The barrel is a spiral-fluted Bartlein with a light palma contour and a threaded muzzle, paired with a self-timing brake for recoil management and quick alignment. The barrel is clearly marked "ALAMO PRECISION RIFLES • NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX" and "338 LAPUA 1-9.3," with the muzzle device face marked "338." The 1:9.3 twist suits a broad range of .338 Lapua projectiles.
Ergonomics and stability come from an AG Composites full carbon fiber stock finished in green/olive, featuring an adjustable cheekpiece, a vertical grip, textured grip panels, and a thick recoil pad. An aluminum counterweight in the forend helps balance the rifle around accessories and a loaded magazine. A short Picatinny accessory rail on the forend provides a mounting point for bipods or other gear, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Topside, a one-piece Picatinny scope rail is installed for secure optics mounting. The bottom metal supports a detachable box magazine system, and this rifle includes a steel Accurate-Mag 5-round magazine for a 5+1 total capacity. A detachable bipod with carbon-fiber legs is installed to aid field stability.
Markings include the Tenacity model designation with Columbia Falls, MT address and a stylized "DEFIANCE" on the receiver. Alamo Precision’s APR 338 record in King of 1 Mile competition highlights the component choices here, including the Timney trigger and the self-timing muzzle brake design often seen in top long-range builds.
