Built by Arsenal, Inc. on a Russian Izhmash/Legion Saiga base, this SGL21-61 pairs a 16.3 in cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a stamped receiver and U.S.-made polymer furniture. It features an AK-74-pattern front end with bayonet lug and two-chamber brake, a left-side optics dovetail rail, and pre-ban import status prior to the July 16, 2014 sanctions. This example includes both a 30-round and a 10-round polymer waffle-pattern magazine.

This SGL21-61 is an Arsenal, Inc. conversion of a Russian Izhmash/Legion Saiga, marked SAIGA 7.62x39, LEGION IZHEVSK RUSSIA, and ARSENAL LAS VEGAS NV USA. It retains the AKM pattern with a stamped 1.0 mm receiver featuring mag-well dimples and a left-side optics dovetail rail.
The 16.3 in barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined. Up front, it uses an AK-74-pattern front sight block with bayonet lug and 24x1.5 mm right-hand threads, fitted with a two-chamber AK-74-style muzzle brake.
Furniture is U.S.-made black polymer marked "US," including a Warsaw-length fixed buttstock (13.0 in length of pull), a checkered polymer pistol grip, and a ribbed polymer lower handguard with stainless heat shield paired with a polymer upper handguard. The finish is black.
Sights are classic iron sights: an adjustable post front and a 1000 m tangent rear sight leaf. The rifle accepts standard double-stack AK-pattern magazines and has a 30+1 capacity.
Overall length is approximately 33 7/8 in and unloaded weight is approximately 7.15 lb. This rifle was imported prior to the July 16, 2014 OFAC sanctions that halted new Russian Kalashnikov Concern imports.
