Built by Fegyver- és Gépgyár (FÉG) in Hungary, the SA-2000M follows the AKM pattern with a stamped receiver and ribbed top cover. It uses a semi-automatic, gas-operated long-stroke piston system and is chambered in 7.62x39. Import marks include TGI KNOX TN alongside FEG and SA 2000M model markings and the FÉG logo.
The rifle is equipped with a right-side-folding steel wire stock with a push-button latch and round buttplate, providing a compact profile when folded. Length of pull is 13 inches. It wears a gray polymer pistol grip and a forward vertical grip, plus a ventilated/slotted lower handguard and a grooved upper handguard for secure handling.
Sighting is classic AK: a protected post front sight and an AK tangent rear sight graduated 1–8. A two-chamber cylindrical muzzle brake with large oval side ports is fitted. A sling loop is positioned under the gas block/front sight area. A cleaning rod is not present, and no left-side optic rail is observed.
The barrel measures 16.75 inches. The magazine well accepts detachable AK-pattern box magazines, and capacity is noted as 30+1. This listing includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG AK/AKM polymer magazine. The folding stock configuration adds practical versatility for storage and carry.
