Upgrades include a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a bright green fiber-optic front sight for clear aiming.

Built on an Essex Arms frame, this Government-length 1911 follows the Browning short-recoil, single-action design with a standard barrel bushing. The pistol is U.S.-made and features an unmarked slide finished in a darker, plum-tone that contrasts the matte gray frame.
Ergonomics and controls are well-appointed: a beavertail grip safety with memory bump, ambidextrous thumb safety, and a skeletonized Commander-style hammer pair with a three-hole skeletonized lightweight trigger. A flat mainspring housing with vertical serrations, one-piece wraparound rubber grips with finger grooves, a serrated slide stop, and a checkered/serrated magazine release round out the handling package.
The sighting system combines a dovetailed green fiber-optic front with a low-mount fixed rear. The slide has rear cocking serrations only, and the ejection port is lowered and flared for reliable clearance.
