Built on the 1911 platform and sized for compact carry, this MR1911CSS combines Series 70 internals with a matte stainless steel slide and frame. Manufacture is by BUL Armory in Israel, with markings that include BUL LTD, Made in Israel, and Magnum Research Inc., Pillager, MN.
The Commander-length 4.33 in bushingless bull barrel is paired with a solid full-length guide rod for smooth cycling. A lowered and flared ejection port, along with front and rear cocking serrations, support reliable function and positive manipulation.
Controls are purposefully configured: single-action operation with a left-side only extended thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, and an extended magazine release. The skeletonized aluminum 3-hole trigger and skeletonized commander-style hammer round out the handling features.
Ergonomics and carry details include a checkered front strap, a flat checkered mainspring housing, a beveled magazine well, and gray/black textured G10 grip panels. Novak-style fixed sights with a dovetailed front blade and a drift-adjustable rear provide a clean sight picture. The slide is clean with no accessory rail.
