The Gen 3 SUB2000 uses a rotating fore-end that allows the carbine to fold while keeping accessories attached to the top and bottom rails. Folded length is approximately 16.15 in, and overall length is about 29.25 in with the stock collapsed. The polymer clamshell receiver and polymer handguard keep weight down to roughly 4.36 lb unloaded.
The 16.15 in carbon steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a protector. Operation is semi-automatic with a straight blowback system. Controls include a cross-bolt safety and a bottom-mounted reciprocating charging handle.
This configuration is set up for Glock-pattern magazines and includes one 15-round Magpul PMAG GL9. Stated capacity is 15+1 with the included magazine.
The handguard provides M-LOK slots with continuous Picatinny rails at 12 and 6 o'clock. The carbine ships without factory sights. The stock is polymer, collapsible, adjustable, and skeletonized. Finish is black, and the carbine is made in the United States.
