The HD C3.6 uses a compact modular 2011 construction with a 7075‑T6 aluminum frame and a polymer grip module with molded star logos. It deletes the grip safety and adds an extended beavertail for secure control while retaining a single‑action only, locked‑breech operating system.
Its 3.6 in stainless bull barrel and captive flat‑wire recoil system are paired with an external extractor for reliable cycling. The slide is machined with front and rear cocking serrations and an optic cut with a removable cover plate. Fixed iron sights include a dovetailed front and a rear sight positioned forward of the ejection port.
Controls are set up for versatility: fully ambidextrous thumb safeties and an ambidextrous slide stop, plus a reversible magazine release. A skeletonized, curved trigger and a skeletonized commander‑style hammer round out the fire controls.
An integral Picatinny accessory rail with three cross slots provides mounting space for lights or other accessories. Dimensions are approximately 7.1 in long, 4.8 in high, and 1.6 in wide, with a weight of about 24 oz without a magazine. Capacity is 15+1 rounds of 9mm Luger. Made in the USA.
