This DoubleStar STAR-15 is a 20-inch, rifle-length gas system AR-15 built with forged aluminum receivers and durable hard-anodized and parkerized finishes. It features a flat-top upper with a T-marked Picatinny rail, an A2 fixed front sight base with bayonet lug, and an A2 flash suppressor on a threaded muzzle. Made in the USA with Winchester, Kentucky receiver markings, it comes with an A2 pattern fixed stock and a Magpul PMAG 30-round magazine.

The rifle follows a classic rifle-length configuration with a 20-inch barrel, direct-impingement operation, and an A2 flash suppressor on a threaded muzzle. The 1:9 twist rate is set up for common 5.56 NATO bullet weights, and the detachable box magazine system provides a 30+1 capacity.
The flat-top upper receiver includes a T-marked Picatinny rail, forward assist, brass deflector, and an ejection-port cover. Receivers are forged aluminum with a hard-anodized finish, while the barrel and small parts wear a parkerized finish. DoubleStar markings identify manufacture in Winchester, Kentucky, USA.
Sighting equipment consists of an A2 fixed front sight base with a bayonet lug and a front sling swivel. The top rail provides a continuous mounting surface along the receiver. Rear sight is not included.
Furniture is durable polymer, including rifle-length two-piece handguards and an A2 pattern fixed stock with a trapdoor buttplate, rear sling loop, and a checkered buttplate. A rubberized finger-groove pistol grip enhances control, and a manual safety provides on-receiver control.
