The ZF-5 retains the proven roller-delayed blowback operating system in a semi-automatic configuration with 0/1 selector markings. Its stamped-steel receiver and polymer trigger housing with integral grip deliver the correct MP5-pattern feel and control placement, including a paddle-style magazine release and a charging handle with a locking notch.
The 8.9 in barrel is cold-hammer-forged from 4150 CMV steel and includes a tri-lug muzzle interface. A three-lug quick-attach flash hider is installed, matching the system and preserving the classic front profile.
Sighting is handled by a hooded front post and an adjustable 4-aperture rear drum diopter, providing precise elevation and windage control in a robust package. The MP5-style unvented polymer forearm maintains the correct profile and solid purchase.
