Its single-action, locked-breech, hammer-fired operation delivers a familiar 1911-style manual of arms with an external hammer and a thumb safety. The solid aluminum trigger is set at approximately 7.0 lb.
Kimber’s Eclipse styling stands out with polished stainless slide flats, a matte dark top, and a charcoal-gray aluminum frame. Front and rear cocking serrations aid manipulation, while the round-heel frame and 30 LPI front-strap checkering enhance comfort and control.
