This Compact Stainless II uses a 4-inch slide over an Officer's-length grip frame to deliver a carry-friendly 1911 footprint with a 7+1 capacity. The bushingless, match-grade bull barrel is paired with a full-length guide rod and capture-pin takedown system, and this 4-inch model uses a single recoil spring.
Controls include a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump and a left-side thumb safety. The Series II Swartz-type firing-pin safety is actuated by the grip safety. A skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole aluminum match-grade trigger round out the fire-control setup.
The slide features rear cocking serrations and a lowered ejection port. Sighting is straightforward and durable with fixed, dovetailed, low-profile 3-dot front and rear sights.
The pistol wears a satin silver finish on both slide and frame. Aftermarket black wraparound finger-groove grips with checkered panels are installed for a secure hold. This U.S.-made example bears a Yonkers, NY USA frame marking.
