The Gen4 configuration brings practical updates: a dual recoil spring assembly, an enlarged reversible magazine catch, and a rough-textured frame. The frame is compatible with Glock’s Modular Backstrap System, allowing user fitment when backstraps are available.
The 4.49 in steel barrel features right-hand hexagonal polygonal rifling with a 250 mm (9.84 in) twist. Fixed sights include a front with a white dot and a standard Glock-profile rear, with an approximate 6.50 in sight radius for a clear sight picture.
Its full-size polymer frame uses the Gen4 rough-textured grip with finger grooves and an integral Glock universal accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or other rail-mounted accessories. The enlarged, reversible magazine release supports left- or right-handed setup.
This pistol operates with Glock’s striker-fired Safe Action System. It is marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." The model is roll-marked "22 Gen4," and the serial number is present on the barrel, slide, and frame.
Standard capacity is 15+1 in .40 S&W. This example includes three Glock factory double-stack magazines marked "40" with the GLOCK logo and 1633-04 floorplates.
