The 22-inch steel barrel uses Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling, paired with open sights: a ramped front post and an adjustable rear leaf with a step elevator. The receiver is grooved for 3/8 in tip-off scope mounts, offering straightforward mounting options if desired.
Operation is semi-automatic blowback with a right-side charging handle and ejection port. A tubular under-barrel magazine with a brass inner tube holds up to 15 rounds of .22 LR. Safety features include a cross-bolt safety.
The hardwood stock is walnut-finished with a straight comb and no checkering, complemented by factory sling swivel studs and a black hard buttplate embossed "Marlin." Metalwork includes a blued finish with a matte black receiver. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
