This LMT Defense LM308MWS pairs the LM8 monolithic MWS architecture with a factory stock barrel that was professionally dimple fluted by Nefarious Arms. It features a 16-inch threaded barrel with a closed-bottom birdcage flash hider, ambidextrous controls, and a full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail. The rifle includes a BCM collapsible stock and BCM textured pistol grip, plus bolt-on Picatinny rail sections on the LM8 handguard.

The monolithic MWS upper uses dual side barrel-retaining bolts that support quick barrel changes, paired with a full-length T-marked Picatinny top rail. The receiver is aluminum and marked "LMT DEFENSE - ELDRIDGE, IA USA - MULTI-CAL - LM308MWS." The upper is additionally marked with "CA PATENT # 2485710" and two US patent numbers.
The factory stock barrel has been dimple fluted by Nefarious Arms and is threaded at the muzzle, capped with a closed-bottom birdcage flash hider. Barrel length is 16 inches, and the rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester.
Controls are well-appointed with an ambidextrous safety selector and ambidextrous magazine release, plus a right-side bolt catch. The LM8-style monolithic handguard provides modular rail slots, and bolt-on Picatinny rail sections are installed for accessories.
