Manufactured by Miroku for Browning, this Sporting model aligns with the well-regarded Citori 525 series. The MX prefix indicates 2003 production, and the gun carries Japanese manufacture markings along with Browning import information.
The 32 inch barrels are ported and fitted with a vent rib on top and vented side ribs for heat dissipation and sighting consistency. They are threaded for chokes and compatible with the Invector-Plus system; no choke tubes are included. Chambers are 2 3/4 inch.
The receiver wears a matte silver nitride finish with full factory scroll engraving, complemented by the Browning Buck Mark in gold on the trigger guard. Barrels show a polished blue finish. A single gold-tone trigger completes the Sporting configuration.
Sighting is via bead sights: a green fiber-optic front bead paired with a white mid-bead. The walnut stock set includes a pistol-grip buttstock and beavertail forend with cut checkering and a black recoil pad. Length of pull measures 15.0 inches.
