The Glock G44 is Glock's first factory rimfire pistol, built in the USA and sized similarly to the G19 for familiar handling during training. It uses a hybrid polymer–steel slide with an nDLC finish, a GLOCK Marksman Barrel, and the Safe Action system. This compact .22 LR offers a 10+1 capacity with adjustable factory sights and a single-slot Glock accessory rail.

As Glock's first rimfire, the G44 pairs .22 LR economy with familiar Glock ergonomics. Its compact size mirrors the G19, making it a straightforward trainer that maintains similar controls, grip angle, and sight picture.
The hybrid polymer–steel slide reduces reciprocating mass for reliable rimfire blowback operation while retaining durability. An nDLC finish and front and rear cocking serrations provide smooth handling and corrosion resistance.
The pistol uses a 4.02 in non-threaded GLOCK Marksman Barrel and a striker-fired blowback action. Factory polymer sights include a white-dot front and an adjustable rear, with a sight radius of 6.02–6.22 in to fine-tune point of impact.
Ergonomics are enhanced with an RTF-style grip and interchangeable backstraps with no finger grooves. A single-slot Glock accessory rail supports lights or training aids, and the Safe Action system provides consistent trigger operation. Dimensions are compact: overall length 7.28 in, height 5.04 in, overall width 1.26 in, and slide width 1.00 in.
This U.S.-made example features matching serials on the barrel and frame. The slide is marked MADE IN USA – GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA., USA, aligning with its domestic manufacture.
