The Weatherby PA-459 TR is a 20 gauge pump-action shotgun built for responsive handling and durable performance. It features an 18.5" chrome-lined steel barrel with a removable extended ported cylinder choke and crenellated crown, an adjustable ghost-ring rear sight paired with a hooded green fiber-optic front sight, and both a receiver-top Picatinny rail and a short 6 o'clock accessory rail. A CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum receiver keeps weight to about 5.75 lb, and the shotgun is chambered for 2 3/4" and 3" shells.

The PA-459 TR (Threat Response) configuration focuses on practical features. Its receiver-top Picatinny rail provides a mounting surface, while a short 6 o'clock accessory rail accommodates a light or similar accessory. The adjustable ghost-ring rear sight and hooded green fiber-optic front sight offer a clear, fast sight picture.
The 18.5" steel barrel is chrome-lined for durability and easy maintenance. The removable extended ported cylinder choke with a crenellated crown adds control at the muzzle and allows quick choke changes. Chambering supports both 2 3/4" and 3" shells, with a tubular magazine capacity of 5+1 with 2 3/4" or 4+1 with 3".
A CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum alloy receiver keeps overall weight to approximately 5.75 lb and balances well with the compact barrel. The matte black finish throughout reduces glare and blends with the black synthetic furniture.
The synthetic pistol-grip stock includes a recoil pad and rear sling stud, matched to a black synthetic forend for a secure, consistent grip. Length of pull is 13.5", and overall length is about 39". Controls include a cross-bolt safety. Markings include Weatherby and Paso Robles, CA, with manufacture in Turkey.
