This SIG Sauer P226 Alloy Stainless Elite (ASE) is a TALO Distributors exclusive, introduced in November 2016 and now discontinued. It pairs a stainless steel slide with a stainless-tone PVD aluminum-alloy frame, and adds premium touches like walnut grip panels with SIG medallions and SIGLITE night sights. This full-size, DA/SA pistol features the Short Reset Trigger, a decocker, and a three-slot SIG accessory rail, offering a distinctive configuration within the P226 line.

This Alloy Stainless Elite (ASE) variant is a limited TALO exclusive, combining full-size P226 performance with a distinctive materials and finishes package. The stainless slide and stainless-tone PVD alloy frame are complemented by an extended beavertail and frontstrap vertical serrations for secure control.
Controls and operation reflect the classic P226 layout with enhancements. It is a DA/SA pistol with a decocker and SIG's Short Reset Trigger (SRT). The magazine release is reversible. Slide manipulation is aided by both front and rear serrations.
Sight picture comes from SIGLITE night sights in a 3-dot configuration, with a dovetailed front blade and dovetailed square-notch rear. The frame integrates a SIG accessory rail with three slots. Walnut grip panels with SIG medallions provide a traditional look and confident purchase.
Markings include "P226 Elite" on the slide and "9mm x 19" on the barrel hood, with the frame marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON-NH-USA." The case end label is dated 13-FEB-2018. Standard capacity is 15+1, and unloaded weight is approximately 32.4 oz.
