This Galil ACE SAR Gen 1 in 7.62x39 combines the proven long-stroke gas piston system with modern enhancements and practical upgrades. It features a 16 in cold hammer forged, chrome-lined CrMoV barrel with a 1:9.45 RH twist, a left-side reciprocating charging handle, ambidextrous safety selectors, and a side-folding, telescoping stock. Upgrades include a Midwest Industries M-LOK aluminum handguard, an angled foregrip, and an aftermarket multi-chamber muzzle brake. It ships with three 30-round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 magazines.

The Gen 1 configuration retains the integrated rear aperture in the top cover and uses standard AK/AKM rock-and-lock magazines. A milled steel core receiver with polymer outer components provides strength with practical weight, and the matte black finish completes a clean, duty-ready look. The 16 in barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome-lined CrMoV steel for durability and service life, with a 1:9.45 RH twist optimized for 7.62x39. The barrel is threaded, and an aftermarket multi-chamber muzzle brake is installed. The long-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt deliver proven reliability.
A full-length Picatinny top rail bridges the receiver and fore-end, and adjustable iron sights include a protected front post and a rear aperture integrated into the top cover. The left-side reciprocating charging handle with a round knob and ambidextrous safety selectors marked S/F support intuitive manipulation.
The rifle is outfitted with a Midwest Industries M-LOK aluminum handguard and an angled polymer foregrip for accessory mounting and control. The side-folding, telescoping polymer stock provides an adjustable length of pull of approximately 11.5–15 in. Overall length is about 34.5 in, and weight is about 7.5 lb.
