Specific Condition Notes: There are scratches and dings throughout the wood. There is some pitting in a concentrated spot of the barrel. The gun is in overall great shape with good life in the locking lug, a tight barrel fit, and timed ejectors.

The Ultra XS configuration combines competition-oriented features with classic Browning build quality. The satin-silver receiver is factory-engraved with scrollwork and highlighted by gold border accents, the Browning Buckmark, and "Ultra XS" in gold. Markings include "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN JAPAN," "MIROKU," and "INVECTOR PLUS."
The 28-inch barrels are factory ported to help manage muzzle rise. A ventilated top rib and ventilated side ribs promote quick sighting and heat dissipation, with a white front bead leading the bead sight arrangement. The barrels use the Invector-Plus system and are set up with extended chokes in Modified and Improved Cylinder.
Walnut furniture includes a semi-beavertail forend and pistol-grip stock with fine cut checkering. Right-hand cast-off and a right-hand palm swell provide a natural point for RH shooters. A rubber buttpad and a 14.75-inch length of pull complete the fit and handling package.
Controls are straightforward and competition-friendly: a single selective, gold-plated trigger; a top-tang safety; and an integrated barrel selector. Capacity is two rounds, and the action shows a tight barrel-to-receiver fit with good life in the locking lug. Ejectors are timed, and the barrel assembly and forend/iron carry matching assembly numbers.
