The Kimber KDS9c Rail is a compact, double-stack 9mm built on a 1911-style platform and announced in 2024. It pairs a 4.09 inch stainless match-grade bull barrel with an optics-cut slide, integral accessory rail, and TruGlo 3-dot night sights. Finished two-tone with KimPro Black over KimPro Gray and made in the USA, this configuration delivers modern capacity with refined controls and materials.

The KDS9c Rail incorporates a 7075 aluminum frame finished in KimPro Gray and a KimPro Black slide for a purposeful two-tone look. The slide is marked 'KDS9c' and features front, rear, and top serrations, plus an optics cut with a cover plate. A multi-slot Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dust cover for mounting lights or other rail‑mounted accessories.
Its 4.09 inch stainless steel barrel is match-grade, bull, bushingless, and fluted, capped with a 30-degree flush-cut crown. The barrel is marked '9MM' and uses a 1:10 LH twist. This setup is designed for consistent lock‑up and smooth cycling in a compact format.
Controls and ergonomics include an ambidextrous thumb safety, firing-pin safety, reversible magazine release, skeletonized hammer, and a skeletonized aluminum three-hole trigger. The frame geometry adds a beavertail with memory shelf, an undercut trigger guard, and a flared magwell. G10 grip panels with cross-hatch texture match the cross-hatch pattern on the front strap and backstrap. There is no grip safety on this model.
TruGlo night sights are dovetailed front and rear, with the rear body marked 'TG-H3'. Capacity is 17+1 in 9mm Luger, and this pistol ships with both a 17-round and a 15-round magazine. Adapter plates are available for the slide cut covering RMSc/Holosun-K, Trijicon RMR, and Docter footprints.
