What's Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 317-2 AirLite .22 LR revolver
The Model 317-2 AirLite is built on S&W's J-frame round-butt platform with an 8-shot fluted cylinder and an unshrouded ejector rod. The lightweight design uses an aluminum alloy frame and cylinder finished in a matte silver clear-coat, paired with a stainless steel barrel liner inside an alloy shroud for durability without adding weight.
This revolver has a 1.875 in barrel and fixed sights: an integral serrated ramp front blade and a fixed top-strap notch rear. It operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer and includes S&W's internal key lock safety feature.
The factory trigger has been replaced; it does not have the original trigger. In its place is a smooth-face silver trigger, noted under customization details. The revolver wears black synthetic boot-style grips suited to the round-butt J-frame profile.
At about 10.8 oz empty and approximately 6.25 in in overall length, the 317-2 emphasizes portability while offering an 8-round .22 LR capacity. The matte silver finish provides a consistent, low-glare appearance across the frame and cylinder.
