This Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 is a recent-release .380 ACP micro pistol configured without a thumb safety (SKU 13927) and upgraded with XS Sights R3D 2.0 night sights. Manufactured in Maryville, Tennessee, it pairs a stainless steel slide and 2.75 inch barrel with a durable Armornite finish and includes both 12- and 10-round factory magazines. The Bodyguard 2.0 series was introduced in 2024 and recognized as Guns & Ammo 2024 Handgun of the Year.
The slide and barrel are stainless steel with a black Armornite finish, and the polymer frame features textured grips with the S&W medallion. Practical features include a striker-fired system with a flat-face trigger and trigger safety tab, a left-side magazine release, and slide machining with front and rear serrations plus relief cuts at the muzzle and rear. Markings include SMITH & WESSON MARYVILLE, TN U.S.A., BODYGUARD 2.0, the S&W monogram, and 380 AUTO.
Upgraded Night Sights: factory-installed XS Sights R3D 2.0 three-dot night sights deliver a bright green front dot with a two-dot rear, and the original XS packaging and installation items are included. The pistol ships with one extended 12-round and one flush-fit 10-round steel magazine, providing a carry-ready capacity up to 12+1 with the extended mag.
As noted on the matching factory box, this example is the No Thumb Safety configuration under mfg part number 13927. The serial prefix PKL on the frame matches the box label.
