This Ruger American Rifle Standard in .30-06 (Model 6901) blends Ruger’s Power Bedding V-block system with a free-floated, cold hammer-forged 22 in sporter barrel and the user-adjustable Marksman Adjustable trigger. The alloy steel barreled action has a matte black finish and sits in a durable black synthetic stock. Built in 2012, it includes installed two-piece scope bases and a detachable 4-round magazine.
The three-lug, right-hand bolt features a 70° lift for confident cycling. The receiver is alloy steel, drilled and tapped, and fitted with two-piece scope bases. There are no sights installed.
Accuracy-focused design elements include the Ruger Power Bedding integral V-block system and a free-floated sporter-taper barrel. The Marksman Adjustable trigger is user-adjustable to suit preference while maintaining a clean break.
The black synthetic stock provides practical features: textured pistol grip, molded chevron-style fore-end panels, a molded-in trigger guard, and a vented rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.6 in, overall length is approximately 42.5 in, and weight is approximately 6.2 lb.
Controls are straightforward, with a tang safety and red fire indicator. Capacity is 4+1 via the detachable polymer magazine. This rifle is made in the United States.
