What’s Included
- 1x 10-round steel magazine
The first-generation 96G Brigadier Elite combines a non-railed aluminum-alloy frame with the distinctive Brigadier heavy slide. The frame features a slanted dust cover and a squared, serrated trigger guard, plus a beveled magwell for smooth reloads. Factory black checkered polymer grips with Beretta medallions and a skeletonized spur hammer complete the Elite profile.
The slide is the open-top Brigadier pattern with front and rear serrations and a Bruniton-type black finish. Replaceable, dovetailed 3-dot sights are standard, with a single white dot front blade and a two-dot rear for a clean, familiar sight picture.
Mechanically, it runs a DA/SA, short-recoil system with a falling locking block. The G-type decocker-only setup uses ambidextrous, slide-mounted levers, providing a decock without a manual safety. Capacity is 10+1 in .40 S&W, and one 10-round magazine is included.
Origin and markings matter on this model: the slide is marked "MADE IN USA" and carries "96 BRIGADIER -G- CAL. 40 S&W" with "ELITE" logos. This is a U.S.-made example manufactured in 1999, representing the first-generation Elite configuration from Accokeek, Maryland.
