Built by the Performance Center, this SW1911 pairs a stainless steel frame and slide with a government-length 5-inch bushing barrel and a standard recoil spring plug. The full-size 1911 platform and .45 ACP chambering deliver the classic format with Performance Center attention to detail.
This example is an early JMB-prefix configuration with the Houlton, ME USA slide marking and the laser-etched Performance Center round slide logo. It is also noted for lacking the later slide lightening cuts seen on subsequent PC1911 SKUs.
The slide uses fish-scale cocking serrations and an external extractor. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a grip safety for familiar 1911 handling. A skeletonized loop hammer and a skeletonized aluminum trigger with lightening cuts complete the performance feature set.
Sights are practical and precise: a dovetailed adjustable black target rear paired with a dovetailed black front blade. The stainless finish on both frame and slide complements the installed Hogue-style wraparound grips with S&W medallions.
