Built on the 1911 platform, the PM-9 uses a Browning short-recoil operating system with a barrel bushing and standard recoil spring plug. The forged stainless-steel frame and stainless slide feature brushed flats and bead-blasted rounds for a purposeful two-texture finish. Capacity is 9+1, and the Government-length 5 inch match barrel anchors its accuracy-focused setup.
Ergonomics and control features include 25 LPI front-strap checkering, a flat checkered mainspring housing, a high undercut trigger guard, and a standard beveled magwell. The single-action fire control group is configured with a long, skeletonized three-hole trigger with an overtravel adjustment screw and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. Safety features comprise a left-side manual thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump.
The slide is purposefully detailed with front and rear cocking serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a serrated anti-glare top rib. Sights are dovetailed: a red fiber-optic front and a black adjustable target rear with windage and elevation adjustments, providing a clear and tunable sight picture.
This PM-9 is part of the Pointman series and carries a Norwich, NY U.S.A. frame rollmark, underscoring its U.S. manufacture. It wears smooth figured wood grip panels (non-factory) that set it apart while maintaining the model’s refined stainless profile.
