Configured from the factory as a Deer Gun, this Model 1100 pairs a 22-inch plain smoothbore barrel with rifle-style sights for fast sighting. It uses a gold bead ramp front and an adjustable rear rifle-style sight. The barrel is marked "12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 IN. SHELLS."
The gas-operated semi-automatic action is built on a steel receiver with a polished blued finish. The left side is rollmarked "Remington Model-1100" with decorative scrollwork.
