The LCP platform here is the original series, built with a through-hardened steel slide and an alloy-steel barrel finished in black oxide. The frame is glass-filled nylon in black, keeping the pistol light and durable while maintaining a slim 0.82 in width.
This example is hammer-fired and double-action-only with a recessed internal hammer and single-strike trigger. It uses a locked-breech, short-recoil, tilting-barrel system. The slide features rear serrations, and the sighting setup is clean and straightforward: a fixed blade front with a white dot and a fixed integral rear notch.
The installed LaserMax CenterFire CF-LCP red laser adds an integrated aiming option. It is user-adjustable for windage and elevation, offers an on/off switch, and features ambidextrous activation, all contained within a trigger-guard-mounted unit designed for the LCP.
