The SR1911 Target is a full-size, Government-length 1911 configured for accuracy and control. Its stainless steel frame and slide wear a matte stainless finish, with forward and rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port. The pistol retains a classic non-railed dust cover and uses a GI-length guide rod with a barrel bushing.
Target-focused sights include a fully adjustable BoMar-style rear and a dovetailed red fiber-optic front blade that was installed as a customization. The sight picture is crisp and tunable for point of impact. Controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety for confident manipulation.
The fire-control system features a skeletonized commander-style hammer and a skeletonized, 3-hole aluminum trigger. Grip surfaces are well executed, with gray/black textured G10 panels bearing Ruger medallions and a flat checkered mainspring housing for consistent hand placement.
Inside, the 5-inch barrel uses 6-groove rifling with a 1:10 RH twist, optimized for 9mm. A titanium firing pin and integral plunger tube round out the build.
