This Government Model (Model O) is built in stainless steel with brushed flats and matte/bead-blast rounds for a classic two-texture finish. The slide carries vertical rear serrations with no front serrations and proper Colt rollmarks, including "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL" and "GOVERNMENT MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBER .45" with the Rampant Colt.
The 5-inch National Match barrel is marked "COLT 45 AUTO N.M." on the hood. It is paired with a standard short guide rod, barrel bushing, and plug setup. Capacity is 7+1 using single-stack 1911-pattern magazines.
Controls follow the GI pattern: spur hammer, short solid trigger, single-side thumb safety, and grip safety. The fixed sight setup includes a staked blade front and a fixed-notch rear.
Factory checkered hardwood double-diamond stocks provide a classic grip profile. The pistol is identified by Colt’s model code O1911C-SS and is made in the USA.
