The EL Jetfire presents Beretta’s premium trim on the 950 BS platform, combining a high-polish blued slide with factory gold-scroll cartouche legends and decorative inlay motifs across the slide flanks and top. Small parts such as the barrel-latch lever and hammer spur are gold-plated, and the pistol wears smooth wood grip panels with inset Beretta medallions.
It uses a single-action only, simple blowback system with an external hammer and a heel-type magazine release. The tip-up barrel allows direct chamber loading and unloading and is designed without an extractor. Capacity is 7+1 with its single-column magazine, and the barrel measures approximately 2.4 inches.
Sighting is straightforward with an integral front blade on the barrel and a fixed rear notch in the slide. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation. The right side of the slide is marked Beretta U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, Md., and the left side reads Beretta Mod. EL 950 BS, .25 Auto, consistent with U.S.
production of the 950BS era.
Safety features include a manual thumb safety with a red index dot indicator. This micro-size .25 ACP from the late 1970s–1990s Accokeek production run stands out for its factory engraving, high-polish finish, and EL embellishments.
