The Precision Lite configuration pairs a carbon fiber-wrapped, heavy-profile stainless steel barrel with an 18-inch length, button rifling, and a 1:16 twist. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for use with compatible muzzle devices. This carbon fiber barrel construction keeps weight manageable while maintaining barrel rigidity.
The MDT-branded one-piece aluminum chassis features an M-LOK forend with an integral sling/swivel stud and an installed Picatinny accessory rail section on the underside. The stock includes an adjustable cheek riser and spacer-adjustable length of pull to fine-tune fit; the listed LOP is 14.0 inches. An MDT pistol grip rounds out the chassis ergonomics.
At the receiver, a factory one-piece 20-MOA Picatinny rail is installed. The rifle uses Savage’s AccuTrigger, user-adjustable in the 3–5 lb range and paired with a trigger safety. The straight blowback action feeds from a 10-round rotary magazine for a 10+1 capacity in .22 LR.
