The .223 Wylde chamber allows the use of both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm, offering flexibility in ammunition selection. Receiver markings include "COBALT KINETICS" and "COBALT KINETICS ST. GEORGE, UT, U.S.A." along with "B.A.M.F. MULTI."
The 18-inch 416R stainless steel barrel uses a 1:8 twist and is threaded, capped with a multi-port compensator/brake featuring a pronged crown. A Syrac Ordnance low-profile adjustable gas block is visible through the handguard, and the rifle operates on a direct-impingement system.
Both upper and lower receivers are billet-machined 7075-T6 aluminum with heavy exterior contouring and a matte grey/blue Cerakote finish. Controls include an ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release, ambidextrous manual safety, right-side bolt-release/assist, and an ambidextrous charging handle with the Cobalt logo. Capacity is 30+1.
The free-float M-LOK Edge-pattern aluminum handguard features a pointed/pronged front cap and an uninterrupted Picatinny top rail. Furniture includes a fixed, skeletonized billet aluminum stock finished in matte grey/blue and a Hogue over-molded AR-15 pistol grip with finger grooves. No sights are installed.
