The MARS-LS pairs LMT's ambidextrous lower with an 11.5-inch 5.56 NATO barrel and direct impingement operation. The controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety, magazine release, and bolt catch/release, and the charging handle uses bilateral latches for easy access from either side.
Its monolithic LMT MRP-L upper is machined from aluminum and uses the patented two-bolt quick-change interface, giving the upper a rigid, one-piece structure. A continuous, T-marked 1913 Picatinny rail runs the full length of the top, and the handguard integrates M-LOK slots at 3, 6, 9, and 45 degrees to mount accessories as needed.
The upper is outfitted with a forward assist and an ejection port cover, and the barrel is threaded and capped with an A2 flash hider. Country of origin is the USA, and the upper bears U.S. and Canadian patent roll marks.
Configured as a pistol, this model features an SB Tactical arm brace and a rubberized finger-groove pistol grip for secure handling. Capacity is 40+1, and it ships with a robust magazine set spanning 40- and 30-round sizes for flexibility at the range.
