What's Included
- Kimber Pro CDP II Custom Shop .45 ACP pistol
- 1x Wilson Combat 8-round 1911 single-stack magazine (stainless steel body)
As a CDP (Custom Defense Package) model from Kimber's Custom Shop, this Pro-length 1911 is factory dehorned with a Carry Melt treatment for smooth edges. It retains rear slide serrations only for a clean profile and includes a lightly beveled magwell for efficient reloads.
The two-tone configuration pairs a satin silver slide with a KimPro II matte black/charcoal aluminum alloy frame to minimize weight. Front-strap checkering at 30 LPI and a checkered mainspring housing provide a secure, controlled grip, complemented by double-diamond hardwood panels.
The 4 inch match-grade, bushingless bull barrel works with a full-length guide rod for consistent lockup in this Pro-length format. A skeletonized, lightweight aluminum trigger and skeletonized commander hammer further contribute to its tuned feel.
Controls and safety features include an ambidextrous thumb safety, grip safety, and Series II Swartz-type firing pin block. Sights are fixed, low-profile 3-dot units with a ramped front and dovetailed rear for durability and a clean sight picture.
Distinctive to this example is the Latin slide engraving, "Qui desiderat pacem, praeparat bellum." Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity, it is made in the USA and includes a Wilson Combat single-stack magazine.
