What’s Included
- Marlin 1894S .44 Remington Magnum lever-action rifle
Manufactured in 1983, this North Haven-made 1894S carries the oval JM proof on the barrel and retains the pre-cross-bolt safety configuration. The solid-top receiver with right-side ejection is drilled and tapped and fitted with four plug screws, offering flexibility while preserving a clean profile.
The carbine-length 20-inch round barrel is carbon steel with Marlin’s Micro-Groove rifling, and the bore is rated excellent. Chambered in .44 Remington Magnum, it feeds from a full-length tubular magazine with a 10+1 capacity.
Stocked in smooth, straight-grip walnut, the rifle includes a black buttplate with a white line spacer and sling swivel studs at the buttstock and on the front barrel band. The length of pull measures 13.5 inches, and the action uses a spurred hammer for confident cycling.
The blued carbon steel receiver and barrel are paired with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and a ramped front blade. The overall package reflects Marlin’s early-1980s build features and finish, with details collectors and shooters appreciate.
