This Russian-made Izhmash Saiga 7.62x39 is a 2014 production, pre-sanctions import that has been professionally converted to a traditional AKM/AK-100 configuration. It features a Tapco G2 trigger group with the trigger relocated forward, laminated wood AKM-style furniture with a palm-swell lower handguard, and a 24 mm front-sight base with detent paired to an AK-74-type two-chamber muzzle brake. It accepts standard AK-pattern magazines and retains clear Russian proof marks and Izhevsk factory markings.

Built at the Izhevsk factory, this Saiga shows the correct arrow-in-triangle logo and Russian proof marks, with the import mark from RWC Group LLC, Tullytown, PA. The receiver is stamped steel with AKM-type magazine well dimples and riveted trunnions, and it uses a smooth top cover. Markings include "SAIGA 7.62x39" and Cyrillic "САЙГА."
The rifle was converted after import to a traditional AKM/AK-100 style layout. The trigger group was moved forward into the AK position and fitted with a Tapco G2 fire-control group. A pistol grip was added, and the stock set was replaced with laminated wood furniture. The lower handguard includes the classic AKM-style palm swell, and the fixed stock has a bottom sling swivel with a glossy finish.
The front end features a 24 mm front-sight base with detent and an AK-74-type two-chamber muzzle brake, along with a 90-degree gas block. Sights are the standard AK setup: an adjustable tangent rear sight and a post front sight on a separate front-sight base.
It retains the proven long-stroke gas piston system with rotating bolt and a 16.3 inch barrel. The rifle accepts standard AK-pattern magazines, with 30+1 capacity noted. Controls include a manual safety selector. Length of pull measures 13 inches.
