The SCAR 20S RCH is the commercial analog to the Mk20 SSR, built around an extended monolithic aluminum upper with integrated 12/3/6/9 o'clock Picatinny rails. The receiver is marked "FN COLUMBIA, SC USA" and "SCAR 20S MULTI-CALIBER," reflecting its FN America Columbia, South Carolina manufacture.
Its 20 inch heavy barrel is chrome-lined, cold hammer-forged, and free-floated for consistency. The barrel is marked "7.62x51 1:12" and uses a 1:12 twist. A three-prong flash hider is installed on the threaded muzzle.
Controls are set up for efficiency and flexibility: ambidextrous magazine release and manual safety, a reciprocating, side-mounted, reversible charging handle, and a two-stage match trigger for precise breaks. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazine.
The precision-focused stock offers an adjustable cheek riser, length-of-pull, and buttpad height. Ergonomics are enhanced by a Hogue-style overmolded rubber pistol grip with finger grooves. The Flat Dark Earth finish is applied across the aluminum receiver and polymer frame for a unified look.
