The Daniel Defense DD5 V5 in 6.5 Creedmoor pairs long-range capability with a premium large-frame AR build. It features a 20 inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined S2W barrel with a rifle +1 adjustable, pinned gas block, a DLC-coated BCG with a dual-ejector bolt, and a Geissele trigger upgrade. The rifle is finished in FDE, uses SR-25 pattern magazines, and includes ambidextrous controls throughout.

This DD5 V5 is a large-frame AR pattern rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 20 inch steel barrel. The barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and cut with a 1:8 twist in the S2W profile for stability with a wide range of 6.5 CM loads. It uses a rifle +1 gas system with an adjustable, pinned gas block for fine-tuning performance. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with an installed multi-port prong-style device.
The upper and lower are 7075-T6 aluminum and tied together with the Daniel Defense 4-Bolt Connection System. A DD5 15.0 free-float M-LOK handguard in 6061-T6 aluminum provides mounting space with a full-length top Picatinny rail. Model and caliber markings on the upper read "DD5V5" and "6.5 CM."
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the magazine release and safety selector. The GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous, anti-gas charging handle enhances usability, and the DLC-coated, superfinished BCG with a dual-ejector bolt supports reliable cycling. The stock is adjustable with soft-touch overmolding and textured surfaces, paired with a Daniel Defense pistol grip with the same soft-touch overmolding. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches.
This rifle includes a Geissele trigger upgrade for a refined trigger press. It accepts SR-25 pattern magazines and ships with a 20-round Magpul PMAG. The rifle wears an FDE finish and is made in the USA. An M-LOK QD sling swivel mount is installed, and a Daniel Defense factory hard case is included.
