The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a one-piece scope base with 1-inch rings is installed.

Deluxe trim is evident throughout: a high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, skip-line checkering, a rosewood forend tip with contrasting spacers, and a rosewood grip cap with a white diamond inlay. A ventilated recoil pad and sling swivel studs round out the stock features.
The metal wears a gloss blued finish. The floorplate carries scroll engraving and is marked "WEATHERBY CUSTOM," adding a distinctive factory touch. The rifle has no factory sights.
Markings include "Made in Japan," "South Gate, Calif.," and "MARK V U.S. PATENT NO. 3,013,355." The receiver is drilled and tapped, and it comes ready with a one-piece scope base and 1-inch rings installed. A bolt shroud safety is fitted.
