This P320 M17 is the full-size configuration chambered in 9mm Luger with a 4.7 in barrel and 17+1 capacity. It uses a striker-fired action with a curved trigger and a left-side magazine release. The pistol incorporates ambidextrous manual safety and ambidextrous slide catch levers for versatile operation.
The stainless steel slide wears a coyote PVD finish and includes front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. It is marked SIG SAUER P320 and M17, with the chamber hood stamped 9mm x 19. The rear sight is a SIGLITE unit with two tritium lamps mounted on a removable rear sight/cover plate, paired with a front blade.
The polymer grip module integrates an M1913 3-slot accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or accessories. Factory details include the model code 320F-9-M17 on the case label and a frame marking of NEWINGTON, NH, USA. The serialized fire control unit is visible through the chassis window.
