The 18-inch barrel is made from 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel, treated with nitride for durability, and cut with 5R rifling. It uses a 1:8 RH twist and comes threaded with an A2-style flash hider. A rifle-length gas system supports this Special Purpose Rifle configuration.
The flat-top Picatinny upper receiver includes a forward assist, brass deflector, and ejection-port cover. A long, free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard runs a full-length top rail aligned to the receiver and integrates an ARCA-style dovetail underside. An M-LOK QD sling socket is installed on the handguard.
Controls are set up for versatility with an ambidextrous safety selector and an ambidextrous charging handle featuring an extended latch. The fire control group is a two-stage match trigger with a flat shoe. The rifle operates via a direct impingement action.
Factory B5 Systems furniture includes an adjustable stock with a QD socket and a B5 Systems pistol grip, all in matte black. The aluminum-alloy receivers wear a matte black finish. Capacity is 30+1 in 5.56 NATO, and the rifle is made in the USA.
