The Thunder 380 uses a fixed-barrel, straight-blowback system paired with a 3.5 in barrel. This setup, combined with its compact size and 8+1 capacity, makes for a straightforward and reliable .380 ACP platform.
Its DA/SA, hammer-fired action includes a slide-mounted safety/decocker and an integral key-operated frame lock with F/S positions. An exposed spurred hammer and a serrated trigger face provide positive control.
The pistol is built with a steel slide and alloy frame, both finished in matte silver/nickel. Rear slide serrations and top anti-glare serrations aid in handling and sight alignment.
Sights are fixed 3-dot (red), with a fixed front blade and a drift-adjustable rear notch carrying two red dots. Black one-piece wraparound polymer grips with checkering provide a secure hold.
