The RDP configuration adds a threaded, extended barrel and a self-indexing compensator for fast follow-up shots and controlled muzzle movement. The barrel is hammer-forged steel with a Melonite finish, and it uses a 1/2x28 thread pattern with a 1:10 twist.
The slide is Melonite finished with front and rear serrations, an external extractor, and a direct-mount optics cut that uses Springfield’s Micro footprint. The included HEX Wasp micro red dot sits low on the slide for an intuitive sight picture alongside the tritium/luminescent front sight (MH3 marking) and tactical rack U-notch rear.
The micro-size polymer frame uses Springfield’s Adaptive Grip Texture for secure purchase without feeling abrasive. Controls include a reversible, button-style magazine release and a flat-faced trigger with an integral safety tab. An accessory rail is integrated for compatible lights or accessories.
Internally, a dual captive recoil spring with a full-length guide rod helps manage slide movement and maintain reliability. The pistol is marked MADE IN CROATIA and is produced by HS Produkt for Springfield Armory.
