It features a full-length 40 MOA top rail with a bridged mirage-control design, a selectable single/double-stage DX2 Evo trigger, and a 4-lug bolt with a 50° short throw. The CDX-50 Tremor uses a heavy, fluted 29-inch Bartlein match barrel with a 1:15 twist. The barrel is threaded and fitted with the Cadex MX1 multi-baffle muzzle brake, combining a match-grade profile with an effective recoil-reduction device.
Its action features a 4-lug bolt with a 50° short throw and a spiral-fluted bolt body, plus dual ejectors for positive ejection. Feeding is from a detachable box magazine for a 5+1 capacity. The Cadex DX2 Evo trigger is user-convertible between single- and double-stage operation and provides an adjustable pull.
The monolithic 6061-T6 aluminum chassis folds in a reverse direction and offers tool-free adjustments. The stock incorporates an adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad along with an integral rear monopod, and the rubberized pistol grip supports a confident hold. The rifle is finished in a distinctive white/black two-tone.
For mounting and support, the rifle includes a full-length Picatinny top rail with approximately 40 MOA cant and a bridged mirage-control design, a long lower dovetail/rail for bipod or other support, and an aluminum forend with removable Picatinny sections. Country of origin is Canada with a U.S. importer mark from Cadex Defense, Swanton, VT. For the 29-inch variant, overall length is approximately 51.5 inches unfolded and 42.4 inches folded per factory specification.
